Tampa Prep grad Eric Bach '12 is the executive chef of Bouzy, the latest concept from Tampa-based Cru Hospitality Group, that opened to much anticipation Monday, February 6, 2023 in Hyde Park Village.

When Bach graduated from Tampa Prep, his plans were to wrestle in college, in Colorado. But, he quickly discovered his love of food and cooking and decided to apply for a job in the Bern's Steakhouse kitchen, at the age of 22.  He knew, from his time in Tampa, that Bern's was one of the best restaurants in the country, so that's where he wanted to work and learn.

Subsequently, Bach rose from the saute line to executive sous chef and gained experience in kitchens in Oklahoma City, Boulder, Telluride and Aspen before coming back home to Tampa.
