In France, the expression, "Métro, Boulot, Dodo" is a saying from the 1960s that alludes to the idea that life can become a relentless cycle of living to work and never finding time to unwind (literally: Travel to work, work, sleep).
More recently, this expression has been used to describe teenage lives.
In class, students read a short poem and learned about the effects of stress in their lives as well as strategies to combat them. As part of this study, they also learned about the benefits of yoga and meditation and were able to participate in French sessions of both during a recent class period.
