Academic Support Counselors Sarah Johnson and Jen Greseth spoke to parents with students in Grade 7 last week, but the information provided is beneficial to all students.
They presented on the challenges 7th graders face, specifically in the second year of middle school and what organizational/study strategies parents can promote, while also encouraging more independence with their students. They also provided an overview/demonstration of My BackPack and PowerSchool TIPS and TRICKS and explained how students should be using these tools.
