Since 2009, the Straz Center's Broadway Star of the Future Awards (BSF) program celebrates outstanding professional actors and actresses in Tampa Bay. For the 2016-17 school year, the Straz Center expanded this program to recognize regional high school productions in the Bay area.

The Straz Center has created a partnership with area schools to shine a light on and encourage excellence in the performing arts, and engage families in the activities of their students. The BSF award recognizes and honors individual artistry in vocal, dance and acting performance, as well as educators' and administrators' commitment to performing arts education.

This year, the Broadway Star of the Future Program has nominated and awarded our very own Terrapin Thespians. Please helps us in congratulating these students, and Theater Director David Mann, for their hard work and commitment to Tampa Prep's Theater program.
