Before leaving for Spring Break, Tampa Prep brought three groups to the District Choral Music Performance Assessments (MPA). Each year, the Florida Vocal Association (FVA) hosts Choral MPA in 16 districts throughout the state.
Middle School Chorus, Women's Chorus (ladies from Chamber and Concert Chorus) and Chamber Chorus performed for a panel of distinguished adjudicators.
- Middle Chorus earned an overall ranking of "Good" for their performance and a ranking of "Excellent" in sight reading.
- Women's Chorus (ladies from Chamber and Concert Chorus) earned an overall ranking of "Excellent" and "Superior" in sight-reading.
- Chamber Chorus earned an overall ranking of "Superior" for their performance and "Superior" in Sight-Reading. Chamber Chorus will qualify for State Choral Competition.
