The third annual International Food Truck Day was a huge success! Students in every language class had a great time learning about food from different cultures.

During this unit, students learn about typical dishes, times that people in different countries eat particular meals, ingredients, how they order, pay and tip for food service and more to prepare for their final project.

Students research a country so they can create their own food truck concept including a menu with local prices, designs of the truck and a business plan that best fits the country's culture.

International Food Truck Day allows students to eat samples from multiple trucks to give them ideas for their project. At the event, there were four trucks with French, Mexican, Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.

Both students and faculty enjoyed tasting food from around the world!
